Impossible Route Dark Divide

Here on the latest installment of the Impossible Route Tyler and Jeremiah add a new "friend in misery" with Andrew Jackson joining the fun. Andrew who is an elite level, Moto and BMX athlete, is no stranger to 2 wheeled activities but maybe slightly less to hiking through the Cascades with a bike on his back. Check out the video below to see what we are talking about.

Objective

Make it to the chopper in 24 hours...

The idea is to replicate the challenge of getting lost overnight. This
is super ambitious for Andrew has not been back country camping and in
fact just got back on a mountain bike 3 weeks early for the first time in
years!

Rules

No Bike packing

No water filter, lights or sleeping bag?

Riders search for 3 surprise supply drops by our evil route builder,
with a bad sense of humor he tests us and helps us a little.

The Cascade Mountains

Are a mountain range located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The range stretches from northern California to southern British Columbia, and includes some of the most iconic peaks in the region, such as Mount Rainier, Mount Shasta, and Mount Hood. The range is known for its dramatic scenery, with lush forests, pristine lakes, and snow-capped peaks. The Cascade Mountains are also home to a variety of wildlife, including black bears, cougars, and deer.

The lower elevations are dominated by coniferous trees such as Douglas fir, western red cedar, and western hemlock, while the higher elevations are home to alpine meadows filled with wildflowers and grasses. In some areas, the terrain is dominated by dense forests of subalpine fir, western white pine, and mountain hemlock. The Cascade Mountains also contain numerous wetlands, which are home to a variety of aquatic plants.
