This is my first experience with a top tube bag. This bag is very well made and holds its form very well. It is quite small...smaller than I expected so I may have gone for something a bit larger. The bag is also quite stiff so it doesn't expand easily if you want to stuff it. I have a standard Galaxy S21 phone and it the bag will barely zip shut, so a larger (plus) size phone is not going to fit.
My Giant Defy does not have allow for a bolt on option so have had to use the straps. I have found that no matter how tight I set the straps, the bag wants to eventually uncenter itself on the bar. I like things looking aligned and put together, so this is an annoyance to me.
if you are needing to carry much of anything, I would chose a larger bag.
