I love that the silver is ACTUALLY silver! Pretty cool! The overall design is good enough, but compared to my other stem bags from two other different brands, this one is a bit awkward. The size is fine, I appreciate the depth of the main compartment though I wish it was slightly wider. I have to keep my iPhone in a heavy duty otterbox and there is no easy way in or out of the designated phone pocket - I’ve been using that pocket for my wallet and keys, instead.
I didn’t love the straps it came with. I found them bulky and too long for my setup and am going to replace them with straps I like better. I also didn’t love the contrasting red stitching that wasn’t evident in the pics. I don’t think it would have been enough to deter me from buying it, but would have been nice to know about as it’s a bit jarring. I’ll try covering the stitching with black sharpie.
The bag also arrived looking a little dirty (I’ll include a pic). I wasn’t terribly impressed by that, but it also didn’t seem worth the hassle of a return. I tried using a mild soapy water to get rid of the stains, but no luck. Oh well, it’s a bag for a bike. It will probably get dirty anyway.
Overall, this isn’t my favorite, but for my casual city bike, it will work. The silver looks sharp and it is worth the aesthetics alone.
