The Belgian Waffle Ride Tripel Crown was designed to provide participants with diverse racing experiences, the series features a points-based omnium format for both Waffle and Wafer distances, accommodating both professional and amateur riders. Points earned across the three races will determine the Tripel Crown champions, with extra weightage given to the BWR California event.
The 2024 series boasts a substantial prize purse of $37,000, with individual event purses and Tripel Crown awards up for grabs. With prizes awarded to the top performers in both male and female categories, the series promises fierce competition and unforgettable cycling experiences for all participants. Cedar City, Utah – The cool morning air hovered around the low 50s as racers gathered at the start line of the 34th Belgian Waffle Ride. With nerves quietly buzzing and the sun just beginning to warm the red-dirt hills of southern Utah.
